Pia (Pinar) Elve, Principal Solicitor
I am the Principal Solicitor of Auslawyers. I completed a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Technology, Sydney and a Bachelor of Commerce (Economics) from Macquarie University. I am also currently completing a Master of Laws in Criminal Practice.
I believe it is important in giving back to the community. That is why I also currently volunteer at the Intellectual Disability Rights Service and provide legal advice to people with intellectual disabilities who are in Police custody. I have previously worked as a Lawyer for one of Sydney’s largest Law Firms and have been a volunteer solicitor at various Community Legal Centres over the years.
I am a member of the NSW Law Society and a member of the following Legal Aid Panels:
- Criminal Law Panel
- Family Law Panel
- Independent Children’s Lawyer Panel
I understand that clients who are going through the legal process not only want a professional and experienced Lawyer, but someone who is friendly and approachable. I advocate strongly for my client’s rights but I also do not underestimate the power of goodwill when handling my client’s cases.
I enjoy travelling and in my spare time I like cycling and participating in Crossfit.
